great backgrounds, interesting characters, looks better than the PT, some descent moral flexibility, I need more RAM, and how the fuck to get off the first fucking level of the stupid planet i crashed into so i can collect my goddamned reward for killing my new next door neighbor...
loved the Sith rohipnol party BTW.

Taris does get a bit repetitive after a while, but it picks up again once you finally leave the planet. There's quite a lot of variety in the sidequests - you even get to act as a lawyer in a murder trial at one point! The story gets better too - there's a great plot twist in the middle of the game.
Of course, the best part is the dialogue - I would save before almost every conversation with my party members so that I could try out different responses. Too bad I was playing Light Side the whole time, because many of the nastier things you could say were incredibly funny. Make sure to try out different combinations of party members - they sometimes talk to each other as you wander around, and some of their conversations are absolutely hilarious.

I wanna pick this one up...
I had never been a major Star Wars fan, but I got into it a lot more after I tried this game. Yes, it's a proper RPG, and you have choices - lots of them, in fact - in every conversation (and there are loads of conversations). The dialogue and voice acting are excellent, movie-quality in some cases. There are two main endings, each of them with minor variations depending on whether you're male or female and a couple of other things.
I'd definitely recommend it. A warning, though: if you're a hardcore RPG fan, you may find the combat a bit easy.

Personally I really don't like RPGs and I loved this game. Great story, great characters... TONS of different outcomes of every conversation/situation.

Yea, the sad thing is that might be true!
Nah. Nothing could make you want to watch ALL the Star Wars movies. Well, maybe it'll make you WANT to but it can't make you like them.

I love the combat, It's a remarkable mix of turnbased live action. Kudos to the person who came up with that. (It could use 'called shots' though).
I'm on Dantooine at the moment, the assult on Taris was fucking awsome!!!
I love this game... It's totally cool. I'm addicted...

plus ignoring all the evil shit i did... just like in the movies...
i'm stuck again... i can't do the swoop race on tatooine 'cause the computer has trouble dealing with the graphics... my Nvidia Graphics card is one card behind, and it said that the minimum req was 256mb of RAM (which is what i had) so i bought another stick and jammed it in...
now the report saysd the miniumum is 512, which is what i have.... WTF? eh...
this came came out in 2003... with the expectations this game has of your system, they obviously we'rent expecting anyone to play it untill 2007, when you won't have to be a millionare to own the hardwar requiered for this i'll-have-the-lobster-and-champagne date of a game!!!
but, yeah some great stuff...
you guys mentioned earlier the lady with the droid used for non factory setting puposes....
that was a terrible thing to throw in there... I felt bad when i killed him, so i went back and made him go home, and felt worse!!!

Sorry. A tip: try equipping Bastila with a Dark Jedi robe and then unequipping it again...
