My mother lost a kidney when I was a toddler. She blames it on drinking too much diet-rite (1960's diet cola).

I saw young people who's teeth were rotting or short. I saw them drink at least four cans of coke a day from the vending machines and that was when I started with Pepsi Max. Now I think of all the money I could have saved.

Was it Cancer? ? I read that Saccharine was introduced to Coke in 1963.

You mean for Aspartame?
Maybe the shaking and memory loss could be related to that.
There was a study to prove that aspartame can cause a form of Alzheimers disease but now it is classed as a myth.
I have a myth that is questionable.
Could Aspartame over stimulate the brain cells or neurons causing some sort of change or damage over long term use?
Now they have banned Coke in India because of the pesticides.

Unrealistically "It is okay for consumers to have pesticides in their drinks and it is perfectly safe because as far as we're concerned the consumers ARE the pests."

Man, I was gonna get some belly washers, those drinks that gave kids luekemia, and send them in for the EBM, but they really are extinct, I can't find any. That would have been the ultimate extinct beverage too... (tear)
And we want to be free to ride our machines without being hassled by the man! And we want to get loaded!

sugar substitutes tend to increase hunger, which defeats the purpose of taking them.
