Looking at the "Harry Potter Shot" at the end of Ep III, one notices that Shmi (and presumably her husband with the bad leg passed on between AOTC and ROTS) tombstomes are missing. WTF?
Also, from ANH, when Aunt Beru says "Luke's just not a farmer Owen, he's too much like his father..."
Owen replies: "That's what I'm afraid of..."
Why? It seems like the Skywalkers are the only ones capable of dealing with the Sandperson problem. Eliminating them has to be good for the value of the Lars farm.

You really cannot say enough about the inconsistencies in these movies. The most blatant one is Obi-Wan's line in ROTJ about Anakin being an excellent pilot when he met him. The second most blatant is probably the complete absurdity that the PT render the scene between Luke, Beru and Owen in A New Hope. Despite all the missed potential of those two well developed and effective characters, the scene simply makes no sense now. Obi-Wan says "(Owen) thought (Anakin) should have stayed here, not gotten involved." Well, what does that mean? I do not remeber any interaction between Obi Wan and Owen. When did Owen share this with Obi Wan?
1. When Obi-Wan handed Luke to him? We actually watch this scene and little or nothing is said. But I guess it is possible that Owen decided to bring up Anakin, who he had met for like three minutes, and his hopes for Anakin to Obi Wan who was running for his life. But that is pretty stupid if you ask me.
2. Did Owen have a heart to heart with Anakin that Anakin later shared with Ben? "By the way Obi-Wan, my step brother who I met on Tatooine, thinks that I should not have gotten involved."
3. Did Obi Wan stop by the ranch alot when Luke was too young to remember? Maybe one night Obi Wan got drunk and made a move on Beru and was banned from the ranch forever.
4. The best explanation is that Obi-Wan figured that Anakin should not have gotten involved by way of the Force and his intense study of the way that Owen Lars has lead his life. This is however, a horrible explanation and one not fitting of the impression the Episode IV line leaves....
....And the same can be said of the entire series.

hahaha
I'm horrified by the thought that Lucas might be filling in these holes for the rest of his life, with video gams, tv shows, and cartoons, and there will be a line of toys and ps2 controllers for EVERY SINGLE ONE.
