I played Everquest for awhile. It's not something any of you should look into. The game is old, stale, and repetitive. It's dying out, actually, and many of the people are cancelling there accounts. You can only go with the concept of kill a rat, then a bigger rat, then an even BIGGER rat for so long.

I'm very afraid of playing a MMORPG. I have an addictive personality when it comes to games. In the past 10 years (shit has it been that long?) I've only played the following games. (games I played alot, not just once or twice)
MarioKart
NBA live '95
WaveRace
FF (the one with kefka)
FF ( the one with blitz ball)
Warcraft 2
Warcraft 3
Starcraft
SimCity 2000, 3000, original
Playing a MMORPG would cut in to my Warcraft 3 time. And I can't have that one bit.

I think I'm going to play the new World of Warcraft when it comes out. The graphics look pretty. And I have too much free time. I'm bored at work right now...when I get home I'll find the link. There was the cutest picture of a little gnome girl in pig tails with a dagger. A rogue. Adorable!

The game looks very very very big and the depth of the world map is crazy. You have to pay a monthly fee you know, so it's probably not worth it unless you play it everyday.
If you do get it, tell me about it. I would love to here some comments on the game play. I could go to the forums at blizzard.com but those guys just rant about technical stuff.
Amber, LTTS thinks the graphics are lousey. Can you believe it!

I know it's a monthly fee..But I live out in the middle of nowhere, no place to go around here, and I have alot of free time. My boyfriend and his roommate are going to play it with me. And the gnome! With pigtails! So cute.

I just can't understand how you think the game looks bad. Take a peak at all the pics. It has stunning graphics!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I already did, and I'm sorry! lol
What do you guys play on terms of free MMORPGs? Are there any good ones right now? Runescape is horrible...

the best Free mmorpg i ever played is ogre island its done in flash but it seriously kicks ass, u can even build ur own cities and become a sort of king.
another good one (also free) yet very different is star port , its in space with space ships (duh!) where u can colonise planets and stuff, very cool, but unlike most mmorpgs this only lasts 2 weeks then its reset, which in a way is good cos rather then waisting 2 years of ur life playing it (like i did runescape) u just take 2 weeks, end and comeback to it whan u got another 2 weeks free
