here to talk about movies that have obvious product placement in them.
not just films that have an occasional billboard in the background, or someone holding a can of coke.
but, rather,.very obvious intentional product placement in films.
in fact, some films are nothing more than one big ad themselves.
here are some films that come to mind:
demolition man: every restaurant in the future is a taco bell
austin powers-goldmember: there is a scene where dr. evil is sitting at a desk with a bag of taco bell before him
the wizard: nothing but a big marketing ad for nintendo
twister: a huge ad for the new dodge ram pickup
transformers: product placement by general motors, and burger king
ill post some more when i have more time.

Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

A bag of Taco Bell?
ET springs to mind, then The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
EDIT: Never mind, no edit after all.

Kung Pow! Enter the Fist has a big parody of that stuff: Master Tang walks down a pathway singing, "Taco Bell, Taco Bell, product placement for Taco Bell." He passes a group of men eating Taco Bell, sings, "Enchorito," and they reply, "Macho Burrito." It might sound odd here, but you have to see it to believe it!

While watching The Scooby-Doo movie
with the Cast Comentary,
Sarah Michelle Gellar points out
some Coke products (but coke is everywhere)
and Matthew Lilard sounds very shocked
with all the Heniz placement
but what can you do Scooby
and Shaggy can't eat without
a few good condiments
Transformers was one big car ad and they even
gave a little love to 7-Up when the Allspark Cube
electro-fied one of the vending machine

I vaguely remember some heist movie from a while back. everyone used Dell laptops and there was one scene where a woman was practicing picking locks or something whilst listening to an ipod.
Head Gunner for the Royal Sloop Crimson Steel, Queen of the Dead, Instigator of Chaos and Confusion, Knight of the Grand Recursive Order of the Lambda Calculus, and also The Non.
Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.
