New video's up. Really really good, as ever. But does anyone find Yahtzee being overwhelmingly positive pretty unsettling?
Well if he wasn't a bit positive on this one then I would be unsettled, this has to be one of the better games on his reveiw list.
BUT HALO 3 IS TEH BEST GAMEZ EVEWR F U ALL

I am actually relieved that he does in fact like something. Dont get me wrong I love all the griping about the lack of quality or imagination in most games and the comedy that ensues from this, but at some point there has to be something worth playing. Yay Portal!!
Oh... and Halo 3 sucks!

It was a really nice suprise to open up Opera and check the escapist for new ZP and notice The Orange Box. I didn't except Yahtzee would make a review about it, but it seems I was wrong.
It was suprising that I found it easy to think likewise with Yahtzee. I like episode two and Portal is great. The only thing I would like add is that TF2 is almost completely like TFC and doesn't offer anything new. I enjoyed the whole purchase, but I only played TF2 for about 1 hour.
Portal will just get better when the map factories get powered up. There will be some really juicy maps... Just like they said in Portal commentary: "We made Portal to give mappers are new style of platform for modding." (I think they said that)

Fan-ruddy-tastic, as per usual. I wasn't sure if I was going to by the Orange Box once I got a computer that doesn't spontaneously combust from time to time, and this review tipped the scales favourably.
However, Yahtzee's criticism of overhype has bit him on his charismatic arse, because now I'm incredibly skeptical of Portal. I do believe this is the only time I'll ever use the phrase, so here goes: Yahtzee has been hoisted by his own petard.

Portal is fantastic not only for the mind bending puzzles and ways to fuck around with the portal gun, but because it's only gonna get better with user made maps.
Team Fortress 2 is way better than he portrayed it, though. Buuuuuuuuuut judging from his other reviews, he isn't a multiplayer kind of guy, which is probably why he doesn't appreciate it as much.

Somewhat. Not as unsettling as the idea of my identity being stolen by an identical duplicant of me, or the idea of delibaretly retarding a human minds so that it can't intellectually progress out of childhood...or Seeing Double, but maybe a bit...but then he criticises the audience instead.
