He almost sounds like Jesus now. I wonder if Jesus would watch the specialer edition for our sins...

Just as an aside, I found somebody who owns the "unmolested" versions of the OOT on DVD!!! Hmmmm.... wonder what I'm gonna do... wonder what I'm gonna do.... hmmmm....
Battle for the Galaxy--read the "other Star Wars"
All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.

At one point the Ewoks were exactly what you mentioned, Chefelf. They fought savagely, and there is a very rare trading card floating around that shows two Ewoks attacking a Storm Trooper. If I remember correctly, they're biting and clawing like nobody's business! It'd be neat, but kind of disturbing, to see something like that happen onscreen, rather than some fwuffy wittle teddy bears beating up on the big mean Storm Troopers, though.

But wouldn't we all be happier with someone else playing Anakin in Episode III?
Oh who am I kidding, Episode II would have sucked regardless of who was playing Anakin, Episode III would suck even if they were to replace him.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

There's a part of me that really wants to hate the Ewoks, and there's another part of me that refuses to hate the Ewoks... maybe it's because I have a fondness for bears, I don't know.

I absolutely loved the selection of Nitpiks. I made sure I watched the DVDs before reading them all. There is one thing that I think should be added, but I need to double check before I fully get behind this statement. It appears that while there are credits for the 1997 release changes, no such credis have been added for the DVD changes. As such, there are now people being credited for things that no longer appear in the films, or conversely, people who have not been credited for the workthey have done for this final release. That to me is the biggest insult for all involved.
Whether you like Hayden or Temuera, they actually do not get acknowledge for their appearances in the new editions.

D'OH!
Now there's a lesson for all you kiddies why grammar & punctuation is so important. There are always nasty Civilian's lurking around to make fun of those statements made where particular attention is not paid.
Kudos to you though Civ. Well spotted! And a mini kudos to you Chef for being second. I mean really we all feel like Civ is our daddy... don't we????
