Well guys, as I mentioned in another thread, I've written this short story that makes fun of special effects and George Lucas. I didn't proofread/refine it all that much, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it anyways.
The allure of Special Effects
(P.S. the guy in the tag is me. It's more than a year old and it needs replacing, but I won't get the picture until after Summer's out.)

Oops, the URL doesn't work. For some reason I can't edit it, so I'll just give another URL.

Ah, very nice work, Paladin. Yes, this is how George Lucas started down the dark path.... it's all coming back to me now. I can still remember the mad gleam in his eye when he saw the crowd's reaction to what had happened.
Also, I love the way you introduced all our characters.
To everyone else, have a look at this. Paladin has done a lot of work on this. It's a very original take on what may be the cause of all the madness that's destroying Star Wars.

Well then! Here's the story.
Most Elves in RPG's usually have some kind of wacky backstory behind their creation. Take the 'Bosmer' In TES series. They're the 'wood elves' of the game and Bosmer means 'tree-sap' in their 'langauge'. Since Chefelf used the word 'chef' in the beginning, I formulated a cheesy backstory behind it and wrote it in my story.
People rarely come up with that kind of stuff as to how Elves are made, but when they do, they normally make them 'creatures of somethingthisthatwhatever'. Dark elves are 'dark' The snow elves are 'snowy', you get the idea. So the Chefelves are kitchen elves.
