In conclusion, I'd rather see Escape from Planet Earth, as long as it's not another Escape from LA.

No I'm shooting down a lot of American mainstream movies based on video games that are, by and large, considered to be awful. If I sit here and list off a bunch of terrible pop albums, does that mean I hate all mainstream music? Of course not. It's giving a comparatively small sampling of absolute shit from a ludicrously broad spectrum of popular music.
If anything, I should note, I struggle to avoid "indie" movies. The last time I went to see an "indie" movie, it was Juno. I am still trying to contact the necessary parties to ensure that I get my fucking hour-and-a-half back from that worthless waste of film.

So, there's an MGS movie in the works. There's been no word on who will play who, aside from unfounded rumours about Christian Bale playing Solid Snake.
But, if liquid was going to be in it, who would be best to play him? I vote Sean Bean
I think you failed to realise that Solid and Liquid were/are twins so any actors that play those two would have to look like one another.

They don't look that similar though do they?
To be fair though, a search for Liquid Snake does bring up loads of pics of Sean Bean.

It was actually "Iroquois Plissken" in the game, but yeah the connection is pretty obvious.
Oh thanks for spoiling the game for me.

Admittedly you do find out in the first quarter of the game...

Except they do look exactly alike. But yeah, I hope whoever is given the job to direct this film dies on the first day of filming. Also, I forgot to add Silent Hill and Max Payne to the list of failed game-to-movie movies.

The worst thing about him is that he has a great backstory.

I didn't know it was out yet. Judging by the trailer, it looks pretty bad ass.
Yes, it is just as retarded as it sounds.

Chances are that it will be like the Star Wars Prequels where the trailers are better then the actual movies.
But I suppose I'm biased against all game-to-movie conversions ever since Resident Evil.
Also, I forgot to add Alone in the Dark to the list but (to be fair) it did suck the least amount compared to all other game-to-movie conversions.
I am also biased against movie-to-game conversions like The Thing and Super Mario Bros not to mention movie-to-game-to-movie conversions like Pokemon. I do enjoy comic-to-game conversion though.
