I'll bite. Shows I can't go without watching. And I anticipate being berated on many.

24
Prison Break
Simpsons
Survivor: China
Amazing Race
The Nick Saban Show (University of Alabama Football report)
Kid Nation
Beauty and the Geek

Hey now, nothing wrong with watching the Simpsons. The writing may have gone downhill in the past decade or so, but they still have the ability to produce the odd gem.

Personally, I watch a ton of children's cartoons that I love. These include but are not limited to 6teen, Total Drama Island, Totally Spies, Atomic Betty, Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy, and a few others that escape my memory for some reason right now.

The only shows I can’t stand to watch is American sitcoms like King of Queens or According to Jim, American action series like 24 and British actions series like Ultimate Force. I also find Law & Order to be incredibly boring these days. Everything else I can tolerate or enjoy.

I think the Crime & Punishment series is more watchable than Law & Order. Mostly because it's a dramatic documentation of actual cases. It's more interesting.

And I can't stand CSI, is there a place that they HAVEN'T found semen? Cripes, Judge Dredd, go test that semen so you can bust down their door in the middle of some flashbacks about painting the victim's house with baby batter.

Shows I do enjoy or I'll stop and watch: Dirty Jobs, How It's Made, Rescue Me, Reno 911, Grimm Adventures, No Reservations, and the Dog Whipserer (I don't even like dogs really).

And does anyone else miss Courage, the Cowardly Dog?

I can’t stand CSI either. Come to think of it, I can’t stand any cop shows, they are all pretty much the same. Add American/Australian/British drama series to the list.

I don't like current cop shows. 70s cop shows are amazing.

Yeah, the older stuff seems to have that over the top kind of feel that makes them fun to watch. Plus usually less semen.

I actually catch myself watching Colombo from time to time, now that I think about it. It's quirky.

Anyone been watching the new American Gladiators? It's just as hilarious as the older episodes from the 90's. I'm watching it all the way to the end. lol.

The only shows I really watch are;

Heroes (first season was excellent, second season sucked)
Kitchen Nightmares (US version for stupidity, UK version for documentary-type information)

I don't really have that much time to watch TV anymore. sad.gif

Woo Kitchen Nightmares! The UK version is amazing. I haven't watched the North American one yet.

I couldn't undestand why they brought American Gladiators back!
I remember thinking how cool those gys and girls were
but now they just look cheesy and pathetically sad.
but i've watched worse things
like this.....

Has anyone seen the show Debbie Does Dallas, Again?
i never understood the references made to Debbie
by guys i know until i saw the Robot Chicken sketch with popsicle sticks.
Anyways watching the production of the Debbie remake

i was horrified and then intrigued at the actually work,
planning, thought and dedication that goes
into the porn industry

i was really shocked at myself
that i enjoyed most of the banter/rivalry between girls
yet still i can't believe i watch this

I'm just dissapointed that the new Siren isn't deaf and a champion of sign language education. I did hear that the gladiator, Militia, is an ex-gay porn star. How American!

Besides, I've got my eye on Hellga (two L's). She's gladiaoring with pigtails and a skirt! Rreow!

I love KN. It's pretty formulaic (episode highlights, Gordon shows up, sits down and goes oh crap. Looks in the kitchen "LOOK AT THIS LOOK AT THIS"; has his team revamp the place; Gordon changes clothes; sends the crew through their paces and is underwhelmed; Motivates the idiotic owner / manager / chef; does a public service event recap; ends in a big hug / tearful farewell, ending with Next time, on Kitchen Nightmares...)

That's the American version. Is the UK any different?

I concur. The shows back then were less politically correct.

reiner: My mom still watches Courage... It's the only cartoon she will "endure."
I enjoy Dirty Jobs as well. That Mike Rowe is a filthy, handsome man.

Like CHiPs?

I've gotten caught up in the world of Project Runway. Craaazy crazy clothes people.

In the UK episodes of Kitchen Nightmares that I have seen, he didn't have a team. But I don't know if that is all the time, or what.

"Maybe artists shouldn't talk about their art."

In the UK ones he never revamps the whole kitchen. He just goes in, tries the food, chokes the slop down, insults said food, leaves his meal in disgust, goes to the kitchen and chastizes the chef, then goes about getting the menu and wait staff functioning to his standards. Then once he's satisfied, he leaves. Then he comes back a month later to check in. Normally, the kitchen and wait staff are still functioning well, so he re-tries the food and leaves them for good without gagging on anything.
