Hey, everyone! I heard of this site, THOTMARKET on the Buzz Out Loud Podcast. It's an experimental site where you can 'buy' stock in 'companies'.

Don't worry, you don't have to spend real money, it's all imaginary.

I plan on buying Chefelf until I become the majority shareholder. Then I'll fire most people from the directory board and change the AT-AT image at the top of the page.

I know better than that! Only 50% of the company is public AND I have shares. I'm still in control. Fo the time being.

Like most startups I'm hoping to be acquired by Google.

So if we let Bond go back to his former rate of posting, is that good for the stock or bad? Also, any way to tell how many shares there are?

Well, not to burst anyone's bubble, but I fear there isn't a fixed number of shares. I assume you can just buy and buy and buy, and the price will go up. Similary you can sell and sell and the price will go down.
