I blame the marketing department for killing adventure games. If only they knew what art was and that not everything has to be family friendly or ethical. Some of them are meant to stirr controversy so that we can push ourselves a bit forward.

Its all sales, sales and sales...and trying to keep the fanbase by releasing shit sequels and fan service, now that gaming communities and forums are like cults now. I have to admit that I personally also tend to suffer from the Wor-cultus-syndrome sometimes, but then I talk myself out of it. Its easy. I just don't engage in any of it.
But who cares? The current generation is full of fat and useless dumps.
