There's now a placeholder where Tuahan.com should be, and the embarrassing thing is, it has a better motto than the old tuahan.com did.
The thing is, I sort of forgot to renew the name. I'm trying to do that now, and Tuahan.com will be back up as soon as possible.

Oops! Damn. I've been there, it sucks.
"What you need, when you need it" is pretty good though. You should consider stealing that.
If yo haven't gone there already, try using GoDaddy to renew. They're awesome. I have all my sites through them. Really cheap... great service.
Lemme know if you need any help.

GoDaddy is what I'm trying to switch to! It's my old registrar, eHost, that's causing the problems. They don't respond to emails, but a call to their tech support line revealed that they won't unlock tuahan.com unless I either pay them for another year, or wait 45 days. Even though I already went to my control panel on their site and removed the domain. Is this standard procedure?

Unfortunately that sounds pretty standard.
Once you miss the renew date that's pretty much your only option.
I would renew. Then wait 90 days and transfer the domain to Godaddy. That's your best (and probably only) option.
