Interesting choices: Screen Savers, X-Play, Unscrewed, Eye Drops, Invent This!, Thunderbirds, but no Call For Help. Does this mean Leo is going back to TSS? They can't ditch Leo AGAIN...

I hope he does, but I also really like the Kevin/Patrick team...

Of course we don't know for sure that they're even keeping the original hosts. However, if they keep Dan "Buckafoo Banzai" Huard, I'll be happy.

Well, here's the thing: Call for Help and TSS are essentially the same show. I never understood why they had both. But you know what? I'd take Call for Help FIVE times a day over the Thunderbirds and friggin' Robot Wars. Why are they keeping those shows?

No more Tech Live? But we get "Eye Drops"? And Anime Unleashed is pretty lame as well.

Chris Pirillo is going to be on Comedy Central? That's just fantastic.

If I had Comedy Central I'd be more excited.

To me Call For Help and the Screen Savers differ in that Call For Help is usually a little more basic, and doesn't really teach me much beyond basic knowledge, whereas the Screen Savers has tought me a lot of great things that I would have never learnt had it not been for their zany ideas.

True enough. I guess I agree but it seems like the fact that they both take calls that they are the same. More distinction should be made between the two... OR they should just combine them in to one MEGA SHOW.

Maybe they could make TSS an hour and a half like it used to be. smile.gif

Did anyone see that Leo has started doing his segments/field work for the Screen Savers? Last night he did one on how to disable the port that AIM uses on your router so you can make sure your kids aren't using it instead of doing homework. Pretty nifty. Plus he went with them to Washington to do some spots for that stuff.

I wouldn't count on that. wink.gif

They're playing a preview of some G4 shows on TechTV from 5-6 each day this week. On G4 they are playing previews of TechTV shows at the same time.

Right now they're showing a documentary about Square and Final Fantasy. It's very interesting. Video game HISTORY. THAT'S what I'm talking about!!

The thing they showed yesterday was awful though, and that army games thing they showed before the Square dealie was pretty boring too. It actually made me want to watch the Simpsons. No...it really did!

Yeah the Army thing was okay but kinda boring. If that's the best G4 has to offer then it's no wonder they are merging. It looks like the more boring of TechTV's programming.

I'm surprised Tech Live is going away. Hopefully Jen isn't reading this as she thinks Tech Live sucks. rolleyes.gif

It is pretty lame sometimes...something about Chris Leary just IRKS me...I am, however, madly in love with Jessica Corbin.

It's hard not to like Jessica Corbin. She's just likable. She's not as scary as Sarah.
