Favorite Final Fantasy Game?

Polls can have a maximum of ten choices, so if your favorite Final Fantasy is not listed, please talk about it below.
I was stuck between FF4 (for nostalgia value) and Final Fantasy Tactics (because of its wonderful tactical battles and vintage class system), but in the end, I voted for FFT.
From the impressive 3D terrain, the expertly animated characters, the gorgeous soundtrack, to the sheer volume of available game-play options, Final Fantasy Tactics is a masterpiece. FFT boasts tremendous replay value for an RPG with its 20 available occupations from which to choose, each with dozens of specialized techniques. The alarmingly cute characters belie the serious nature FFT’s thoughtful, exciting plot -- treachery, social struggle, lost love, murder, and moral dilemma along the way.
Unfortunately, the English translation of the original Japanese script does its worst to deter you from FFT’s story with poor grammar and the consistently awkward use of “quotation marks,” but thankfully the story remained intact.

Even so, special mention must be given to VII (i don't care what all the nay-sayers whine about; it was great!!), 1 (just so... good!), and all the others i haven't beaten yet (basically II-VI, even tho i have ROMS of them all).

I recommend playing 4-6. (Don’t waste your time on Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.)

Word on the treet is FF:MQ should be avoided.
As for the others, i've tried to begin III, which so far i've been pleased with, but have had little motivation to continue. In so far as Squares epic SNES RPG's go, i've gone through at least half of Secret of Mana, which is a fine game, but have unfortunely been reluctant about starting FFV or VI, AND Chrono Trigger for that matter.
Wait... what was my point?

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest was made for beginners, which is why it’s so horrible.
If you like Secret of Mana, try Seiken Densetsu 3 (the sequel) -- it’s excellent.
I would rank the SNES FFs: FF4, FF6, FF5. Don’t play US FF2; it’s the kiddie version of FF4. Get a good translation of FF4 hard-type.
Chrono Trigger is my favorite RPG.
None that I can tell!

FF6 has Kefka and Espers. FF4’s villains are Golbez and later Zemus, and you have to protect the crystals.

I didn't like FF4 that much because Cecil starts out as a Dark Knight and you have to change him into a Paladin to progress the story. My thoughts are outlined in the lamest character thread. However, Wong is easily renamed Wang, not only being funny but fitting, and Cain kicks ass.
My Floating Island friend - How do you beat the dungeon where you can't wear metal armor in FF4? Leveling up and buying equ doesn't help at all, my guys still get their asses kicked. How I miss you, Dark Wave...
