Why is it that even when the image is posted correctly, some people can see it fine and others just see those three little words?

Hmm. I don't know exactly what you mean. Do you have a URL to an example?

Well, not really. It's just that I posted an image in the Iran thread in Debate Club, and Laughlyn, Renegade and I can apparently see it fine, and Slade says he just gets 'user posted image'. I had the same problem when MacGyver's Mullet was posting some pic a while back, and I could see the picture okay, but he swore it was just 'user posted image' for him and kept re-editing the post, trying to get it to work.
I see a lot of 'user posted image' posts in the photo album in the Lobby, but I don't know if I'm alone there.

What browser are you using Rhubarb? If you put in the link wrong on a preview you get a 'user posted image' message. Normally it's from a broken link but some browsers are overly picky about the link construction.

Actually, if you right click User Posted Image, you can see the picture in a new window. Then you just hit the back button and everything is hunky-dory.
Annoying yes, so fix it damn it.
