Scams! Beware!

I just got an E-mail through this site that was some lady claiming to live in Africa that needed my help. If you get one of these, DON'T HELP THEM! They're total scam artists that live in Africa who want your money. I saw stories of it on the news. Apparently, they claim to have millions of dollars that need transfered to an American bank account. Don't listen! If they had that much, they can buy a plane ticket. Send them an E-mail back that says to sodomize themselves with a BFK! The entire message I recieved is in bold below.

Nowhere is safe, it seems. This old chestnut has been around for years, and its not every day you see someone getting banned...

The offending member has had their account suspended. If anyone else gets such emails or PMs (or sees anyone use the board for such things) then notify myself or Carlos 9 and we'll take care of it.

Thanks, Cheffers.
Did you not hear, young grasshopper? They have no money. It's a scam. They tell you you need money up front to help (or some shit like that. Any wanker dumb enough to fall for that one should get shot), get you over to Africa, then take all your moneys, then probably rape you and kill you. The news story I saw was an interview with someone lucky enough to escape back to his home country. Plus, Nigeria is the world leader in scamming.

Yep, I got it as well in a PM. Just a variation on the infamous 'Nigerian Scam'. It's usually done by email, though - I've never seen anyone try it in a forum before.

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

Well, it's great because it's nice to limit yourself to sending 6 emails at a time rather than sending out 6 million via regular mail.
I bet this has resulted in a lot of cash for our little friend.

Just as a little warning gentlemen, Spamming a spammer isn't the best of ideas. They send out e-mails to millions of addresses, most of which are inactive\nonexistant. Replying only tells them that you read your mail, and they send you more as a result.
Trust me on this one, it's not worth the headache.
