See, the ltts that I knew in high school would have never said that. Oh she'd have THOUGHT it, but she would've kept it to herself and probably muttered it again later under her breath, chuckling slightly.
Anyway, I want to make sure I understand here.
Yahtzee has been toiling away in obscurity for years, making things for his own benefit and enjoying himself. He basically accidentally falls into moderate success, earns a large following, and manages to get a job doing something he loves rather than breaking his back all the time in mind-numbing work like data entry.
And you have a problem with this fact.
Personally, I think that if I were in his shoes, I'd be incredibly insulted by that assertion. He's worked hard to get where he is (which isn't exactly a high-paying job, I don't think) and he deserves whatever future successes he sees. It's unfair to expect anyone to just do everything for your benefit. He's watching for his own ass, and taking some great opportunities, which is exactly what he should be doing if he's pursuing a dream.
