The best characters are Yoshimitsu and the Duck Hunt Dog, hands down.

Now y'see, coming from a time before all this shit with players being able to beat the game, when skill was necessary to even get partway through the first level of any game, (Who I am kidding? games didn't have levels back in those days!), I define button-mashing somewhat differently.

Button mashing is pressing buttons with little idea of how to effectively use the buttons, often overpressing really quickly and when not necessary or useful, with little finesse or elegance, and sticking to the first thing that appears to work.
This often appears to be simply random button pressing, thus how we described button mashing to your generation when you were little tots or fledging gamers, both of which we considered to be of lesser intelligence.
Unfortunately, there are so damn many of you that the less accurate definition spread, took hold, and was taken literally.

So what? In the end who really cares? It's a videogame.

arguments are fun on their own, they don't need to be about a videogame!

Come, Ghello, allow me to show you the joy in pointless arguing!

You've already demonstrated that quite well. But don't let me stop you from continuing.

I like kicking. I do side kicks in the gym all the time. My 540 make me feel great.

I would argue that. Whether or not I demonstrated pointless argumentation is subjective, but I don't believe that the joy of pointless argumentation can be properly appreciated without engaging in it yourself.

i think the best thing we can take from yahtzee's reviews and what i have learned from watching is that you should always have fun while playing a video game. when a video game stops being fun there is no point. i also do consider video games to be art work as well, but when video games stop being fun you shouldn't be playing them anymore.

but on to the topic of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, i actually bought a Wii and this was the first game i got (this being the first super smash bros. i actually own out of the 3) i do enjoy the occasional Classic mode every once in a while to kill some time. this is not a game where you can sit and play it for hours on end. if you really want games to play for hours dont buy a fucking console go buy a PC if your that serious about gaming because the only games your going to want is Call of Duty, Half life, etc. and the best place to play that is on a computer hands down no little joystick will ever beat a mouse to control an fps game ever. dry.gif
