Yahtzee has found new "friends".
I thought X-Blade was Japanese, preparing to ignore it, but now that I know its western, now I am going to attempt to flush my head down the toilet.
I found the new Unskipable episode to be pretty funny, as usual, even when Yahtzee is not around.

I'd have to say the Unskippable thing was utterly made of fail. Ok, you've got a boring cinematic thing, now they've added a boring commentary. Most annoying, though, was at the end, when the have that forced rivalry bullshit. Especially when Yahtzee said it was rubbish and was completely correct. That fact really makes the half-arsed comebacks grate, especially when you decide to prove Yahtzee to be even more completely correct by trying to do Zero Punctuation and fucking it up. Couldn't they have at least done it on a seperate video, for people watching Zero Punctuation only for the people who know what they're doing?

I'm quite fond of Unskippable since I started viewing it today.
Also, fun facts.

It's really too bad, Mystery Science Theater 3K is one of my favorite (if not my absolute favorite) TV shows of all time. The concept for Unskippable is sound (even if it is stolen), it's their execution that really lacks.

As an RTS player I must say bravo on the criticism. I pity the fool playing an RTS on a console, the inability to select a group of units and assign it a grouping number makes multi-faceted complex manuevers impossible, so yes the RTS genre is safe from the unwashed hairy masses of halo players. And I hope Yahtzee reviews Dawn of War 2 (MOAR SPACE MARINEZ!), just so I don't have to if it turns out to be just a terrible MMORPG with RTS elements.

I don't mind RTS games, and have always loved the Red alert series. My PC right now would splutter and die with RA3, so I tried the PS3 demo and my god... it was horrible...

GW is Space Marines, everything else is just to provide an all-powerful ancient menace to eat the universe next tuesayd and/or to marines to throw their leetness at.
Though, having every army in existence pop down to fight over the same place at the same time (again) is pushing it, even for GW.

Unskippable is like MST3K: Video Game Edition, and as awesome as that sounds, it just doesn't work for me. Also, Halo Wars is terrible. Unless you find a brand new completely novel way to control it as well as on PC, don't put it on the console for Jebus' sake.

I can kind of see where they were coming from, though. Halo brought FPS's to consoles in a way they hadn't before (anybody who says GoldenEye did it better is objectively wrong). Even though I'm no fan of Halo, I can see the effect it had on other console owners.
I guess Halo Wars was just trying to do the same thing with RTS's but failed.
