I like spring and fall best, but summer's not bad. I don't like seasons where I have to wear a coat. As a result, I try to hold out as long as possible and have gained the ability to wear short sleeves and shorts in 30 degree weather. (Well, I'm cold, but I can still do it.)
Weather whether you like it or not.....

I prefer completely still nights just after it's been snowing, or snowing ever so gently, the temperature, just below O°C to keep the snow living. If the moon hangs in there, I'm in there for an amazing treat for my eyes.

I must admit though, I could not possibly live without four seasons. I enjoy the change of landscape without actually going anywhere very much. As much as I would ever bitch about it, I could never be without it (except the damnable ice, it is only okay when it hangs off roofs, that is it)

I once slipped on ice on the middle of the road, and a car was coming, fell on my arse and was like paralyzed for a whole minute. Couldn't move at all and the car just honked at me!

Sime - Treasureville is pratically a frozen wasteland from November to May, so I'll get some good pictures for you... It won't be the same but it'll be close-ish.
Mirithorn - they really are a bit different, if you look close enough...
Icey - when I was in school, I met a girl from California who had never walked on ice and fell and broke her foot. Once she was able to walk again, I trained her in the ways of penguin walking. (partly to keep her from falling again, and mostly for my own entertainment

7 feet!? I would get killed by my deathtrap of a car if that ever happened and I still had to go to class. I don't care how well they plow the Northway.Still, I have traveled far and wide, and Upstate NY is still my favorite place to be for very long periods of time.

I'm in the Mohawk Valley, Oneida County, about five miles south of Rome (home of Woodstock 99!). I go to school in Rochester @ RIT. Though the last time we got 7 feet at once was '91 or '92, I was rather wee and it looked like a whole lot more!
