Lucas became a Howard Hughes like recluse for a time, Howard the Duck (precurser to Jar Jar) may have had something to do with that, so he went to build the CGI wing in the delusion the PT would vindicate him.

Speilberg just imploded creatively, so much so its tough to believe he is the same guy who made Radiers. Sure, he made pics that had big box office returns, but he's coasting on the name he established for himself and movie tickets are more expensive than when he started and he makes flicks like Jurassic Park that capitalize on the need for a film with lost of crashes and explosions before the Fourth of July weekend.

Coppola must have gotten brain rot in the Phillippine jungle while filming Apocalypse Now. Sure, Dracula was an OK flick, but so much dreck like Jack among others leads me to believe his most creatibe days are beyond him.

Maybe the smell of the inside of the Tucker auto they may have been subjected to finished them off creatively.
