Meh, it's only degrading to the individual women who are in it.
Head Gunner for the Royal Sloop Crimson Steel, Queen of the Dead, Instigator of Chaos and Confusion, Knight of the Grand Recursive Order of the Lambda Calculus, and also The Non.
Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

Nope. And I need to go gouge out my eyes now. Kangaroo...
Porn: The women who are in the business most likely want to be there, and it's not degrading to women in general even if you're of the opinion that it's degrading anyhow, just the women in the business. It also gives the lonely guys a little something.
But it perpetuates the belief that enormous penises are better/the norm. I'd say it's more degrading to our culture's view of what's acceptable in a male.
But then again, almost all of the women are knock outs, so it also lowers the perspective of how attractive a female needs to be to inspire desire if I'm taking my argument seriously. I don't know if I am yet...
Thoughts to chew on, I suppose. Or lick.

if anything, porn exploits men. it seems to me, men are pre-disposed to sexuality; many a man and woman has made a comfortable living off of it. take strip clubs, for example, men give over inordinate sums of money to girls who do nothing more than show-off what nature gave them. to borrow an analogy from 'forty year old virgin' its like a lion tackleing an antelope, basic instinct; and it proves once and for all what women are REALLY after: the money.
but hey, i dont mind being exploited! long live the porn industry, and god bless!

Officer! officer! quick! all my money was stolen by a man in flannel!

That, and what the doctor could put in them.
EDIT: And by the way, no, I don't think porn degrades women... Sometimes it is very useful, actually, because it gives women something to imitate.

It's interesting that in places that are uptight high and mighty on morality and completely mask sexuality, including no porn, are more degenerate than places that are comfortable with it.
Now I'm not saying that some of the weird stuff out there isn't degrading to humanity, but within certain boundaries its probably a good thing - e.g. lower paedophilia and rape because people have an outlet for their frustrations.
So - though it is, to an extent, degrading to the women (AND THE MEN!) involved, its an industry and has its place.

Most nations, civilisations even, were built apon the pornographical industry! How dare you insult the very fabric of our existance!
