He showed up fine for me in that part. Patience, Lava. Patience.
The only problem I had while playing was the portion on the last day in which the Welder shows up randomly. He popped in several times in a doorway in front of me as I was walking through it. I don't know if that would be a "bug" per se, but it did create some frustration.

Thanks for the excellent game!
Not sure if this is a bug but I'm on thursday now and the ship is completely abandoned.. there's no one to be found anywhere The walkthrough suggests that I should find William in sick bay but he's just not there.. I've done everything as it is in he walkthrough so far, maybe not always in the same sequence. Am I overlooking something?
TIA for any help.

Happened to me too. Kinda F*cked up my system too, because I think it caused a looping problem in the coding.
Everythings all well and good though. Somerset's last words at the end of the game - is that a reference to anything? it sounds scarily familier somehow...
Or maybe its just me and those pills I keep finding on the streets.

Hey Yahtzee. Thanks for the great game. 5 Days was one of my favourite adventure games of the last few years and stumbling upon this made me very happy.
I found a very simple bug...
In your office, you can walk through the door without using it. However, you don't move into the residential hallway, you just sit there. You can walk back into your room. It's rather odd, in fact.
Also, when the captain was wandering the halls, I happened to walk through a door at the same time as he emerged. We both stood there, staring at each other. For ages. And ages. And ages. I think it crashed, but I may have just been too impatient.
Anyway, great game.
