Tuxedo Mask!? Ahhh!
Anyway, I really liked the IM conversation thing. Hilarity. The comics weren't too bad either. Nicely done.
And on the topic of L&E articles, I finished my follow up to The Guide For Guessing Your Way Through College today. I will reveal nothing more until it goes online.

Thanks, Hecc. And Tuxedo Mask?! Why did you say that, and what does it mean, LttS? Sounds anime-ish...
Whatah! My mouth is out of proportion to the rest of my body, and when I jump the scenery suddenly changes to lots of flashing swooshes! Yah! Or something. I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.

The only problem is that a lot of anime series' (obviously not all) lack focus and their themes are sometimes lost in the muddle of their own pretentions or delusions of gradeur.
But i love em just the same!

Akira is a great introduction. You should also make a note to check out "Spirited Away", "Princess Mononoke", "Ghost In The Shell" and "Ninja Scroll". You'd have basically seen the five most mainstream anime films of all time then. "Jin-Roh" was also good, as was "Metropolis", and "Castle Of Cagliostro" (I think that's what it was called) was really good as well.

Those are all fun titles. Some of them, like Ghost in the Shell, Metropolis, and Akira, would be good to get in manga format too. In fact, probably better. But the films are still fine achievments in animation !!!

Well, that does make sense, since I did type "And Hecc:" Usually implying that the following statement would be implied toward the preceeding person or persons. Someone actually told me it takes talent to make those things. I was flattered, but had to tell her that it doesn't.
