This is pretty fucking awesome. Leaving aside the hat issue, you really nailed his face - it's got just the right mix of keen intelligence, fatigue and cold ruthlessness. My only issue is that his clothes are unusually rumpled for someone as fastidiously well-dressed as Trilby, but I guess this could be right after he gets into a scrape.
