Hey guys, have been gone for a bit - preparing the next movie for shooting, so I tend to do a "down periscope" sort of thing for a few weeks during pre-production...
I wanted to post an update to the
Fall of a Saga saga, as it were...some exciting stuff! I JUST received a call from the
ShockerFest Film Festival, and
Fall has been accepted.
Why is this cool? Two big reasons I can think of:
(1)
Fall has two nominations going for it, one for Best Actor (Bruce Collier as George Lucas) and one for Best Score (all props to Andrew R. Powell), and we just MIGHT be getting a nom for Best Picture (I'll let you know as things progress). This means lots of fun after-parties and general mayhem.
(2) ShockerFest takes place in Modesto, CA...which, as all die-hard Star Wars fans know, is the home town of Mr. George Lucas. This means lots of angry villagers with pitchforks and general mayhem.
It's going to be exciting. For all I know, we could have Lucas' cousins in the audience...hell, even Lucas himself, I really don't know.
If you guys have the opportunity, try to make it out there, I know I'm going to be there. Should be an experience to remember.
