Okay - whoa.... let's stop going down this road. Time for another random thought, methinks.
INVENTIONS - we all know a great key to getting rich is to invent something and stick a patent on it. But in reality it is pretty hard to come up with ideas that haven't already been thought of. I've thought of many great things in the past, only to discover that they had already been invented - only they weren't marketed very well.
Recently, I thought of something that seemed utterly foolproof - a pacer with coloured leads. Just think of the advantages of that for the serious artists. No more having to buy a new set of pencils because your black pencil has become a useless stump. No more pencils decreasing in length - period. It's a lot easier on the fingers and the sanity. Positives all round. This was a winner.
A week - A WEEK (at the most) - after thinking of this, what happens? A kid comes to school and shows me his pacer with coloured leads.
