Ahh, I went off topic already.
Lucas Arts was supposed to come out with a sequal to Full Throttle, but they canceled it and decided to chuck more anoying 'Star Wars' Games. Great, now I'm going to get eaten alive by the hardcore 'Star Wars' fans now! But thats just my opinion.
Is anyone getting a little getting tired of the constant 'Star Wars' Games? The only Star Wars game I play every once in a while is "Dark Forces". I like the Movies but I think the games are going a little over board. I know that's why Lucas Arts was formed is to make 'Star Wars Games, but, come on. You can only make so many Star Wars games. This is my opinion, so please don't taunt me too much.

==Example of an Interview==
Lucas Arts: "Our new game is going to be different from the others we have been making, we want to make something NEW. It has different gameplay and it will add a new genre to the worlds of gaming!"
Interviewer: "New game-play? Wow! Tell us what the story line is about!"
Lucas Arts (Grin on his face): "I'm glad you asked! It has a 'STAR WARS' theme!"
Interviewer (Sarcastically): "Oh... Great..."

I guess it's just a safer bet to release another stale Star Wars game -- as far as sales go -- rather than come up with something new.

I'd say 'Adventure Games' are coming to it's end, or close to it. I guess we just have to play 'Monkey Island' and 'Maniac Mansion' over and over again. And If they come out with another 'Mist' game? I will be SICK. I don't consider Mist to be a real adventure game.

There are still quite a few adventure games around if you know where to look. The problem is that many of them are made by small independent developers and don't get a very wide release. Sites like Just Adventure and Adventure Gamers are a good source of information.

Anyway, I've never taken much interest in LucasArts products outside of the Dark Forces series. I've always considered them to be a very mediocre developer that produces a slew of sub-par titles with one or two good ones mixed in. I've never taken the time to get into their adventure games, but that's mostly because I'm not a big fan of adventure games. Still, however, I'd say LucasArts would be a better publisher than developer. They should let other, more independent companies handle the Star Wars games.

Which is why the cancellation of Sam and Max pissed me off so much.
I thought I'd finally be able to see what all the fuss was about and actually get meet these characters (figuratively speaking) instead of being left in the dark any longer... I consider myself as chiefly an adventure gamer, but I feel like there is an enormous gaping hole in my fandom that may possibly never be filled...
And they need to make Monkey Island 5. It's been almost five years! They need to hop to it, already! More Guybrush Threepwood! More, I say! Fanfiction and other work can only sustain a fangirl's obsession for so long!
...I am so bleeding sick of Star Wars!

I'd love to pick up a copy of it next time I'm in Australia. I wonder if they have a version that runs off Windows rather than DOS. That'd make it a lot easier to install and run.
