Another issue on cheap toasters:
Their idea of economics here is to turn on the coils at full blast heat using a timed on/off setting, without any controls on the level of heat output. So instead of nicely cooked toast, it burns the edges of the toast. I use to waste four toasts a day for not watching until I brought a quality toaster for myself. Again the cheap product looked more "pretty" than the performance.
I remember seeing a talking toaster from Crapola featured in a television series, but cannot find where they are sold:

Oh and I know the intelligence would be fake with using random voices on functions.
