Banning Anime? Who's brilliant idea was this?

"Anime is a perverse, evil, insiduous form of animation from the dark land of Japan, and is corrupting America's youth at unprecedented rates."
He should go to China and see the dark side there, if it exists. I know there is corruption around but banning and removing all forms of the symptoms shows their ways of protecting people. Other alternatives can be found easily.
Simply "Here is a knife, how you want to use it is totally up to you" knowing what is right from wrong. In this case it seems "lets ban all video games because it is corrupting what we can't or won't control." I could say and it is fact that the chemicals they put in sweets can corrupt people's behaviour, all the same that has been going on for a long time.
In the image to me "I do not like art, that is causing all the problems here, lets ban it."

"Anime is a dark scourge upon our beautiful nation, and we don't need this Japanese filth corrupting the hearts of the children. "
I could say the same about "Capitalism" there, which is a "scrouge" on the "hearts" of the vulnerable.
Okay lets ban anime, but what difference would it make to the vulnerable people who do not watch anime and especially those who are too busy getting hooked on substances that pose a risk to their health? One predictable outcome is for the anime watchers and designers to switch to an alternative method.
"I recognise those type of people who behave in a similar way to their ideas, plenty of them around and not too difficult to miss outside."
If the opposing people wants to do something about it, voicing their concerns, they should ask if controls can be introduced. Or tell the watchers on what is appropriate before watching.
Imagery "The pratitioners."
Voicing concerns incorrectly or with little evidence to prove their facts.

To: George Bush
ah, the king of morality himself
Here in America, we live in a climate of moral decay]
you certainly do... a nation founded on the worship the god of love who offers free will, there are alot of people trying to ban things from the public....
or people who call themselves 'pro-life' who murder doctors, sometimes in front of their kids...
What is the cause of this?
i'm going to go with: the over abundance of firearms enbuing everyone with delusions of power and the cheapness of life...
It is called "anime".
damnit! that was my second guess... foreign cartoons.... of course.
Anime is a perverse, evil, insiduous form of animation from the dark land of Japan, and is corrupting America's youth at unprecedented rates.
that damn japan! AKA mordor, angband, hell, hades, the dark land, the barrens of despair....
corrupting america's youth with their transforming robots, and cute fluffy animals, in a way that sugary cereal, poor education, a murdererous moral majority, terrible foreign polocy, and religious racism never could.
Here are a few examples of anime which are circulating on the Internet and may very well be in your home:
hiding under your beds...
1) Ah My Goddess: A sick and disgusting show which causes children under the age of 18 to think they are capable of love.
which they're not... so next time a kids says; "i love you mommy" you should lock him/her in the basement for lying!
The main female character is clearly under 18, and is forced into a romantic relationship by an older man who "wishes" for her to be his girlfriend forever. He even KISSES her, and she appears NAKED. That poor girl must be so confused.
she's probably wondering why the self appointed censorship board were so busy trying to ban games when they should have been checking to see which cartoons are suitable for children and which should get the appropriate rating... which is... you know... theor job.
2) Love Hina: I'm not even going to mention the unspeakable, disgusting, pedophilic, pornograhpic events which transpire during this show, but suffice it to say, groups of young men on Love Hina-fueled rampages are raping children at a level unheard of since the 60s.
back when gidget was doing it.
If you are a parent or a decent human being, I urge you to sign this petition to ban all forms of anime in the United States. Anyone who is found in possesion of anime should be arrested and jailed for an exhorbant period of time. Anime is a dark scourge upon our beautiful nation, and we don't need this Japanese filth corrupting the hearts of the children.
in fact we should go to war against those of the darklands and nuke em some more... kill kill kill... that's the christian way!!!
and as they're probably "already in your home" we should just all move into jail...
As a resonsible Christian, I demand to see this garbage removed from our nation. Please sign this petition and send it to George Bush, your Congressman, and the makers/distributors of anime filth and depravity.
so that would be...
dear makers/distributors of anime filth and depravity,
c/o evil, insiduous form of animation company
the dark land of Japan.
Do the right thing.
Sincerely,
nutjob...

Oil.
DAMN IT! I knew that one.
Keep in mind that this has nothing to do with not enough emphasis being put on our school systems, and kids essentially being told from day one that all you need is a highschool education.
QUICK! THE COPS ARE COMING! HIDE YOUR PLAYSTATION!
Now, the big question.
What about Manga?

Also, something which strikes me is odd is that Japanese cartoons are causing American students to fall behind Japanese ones.

If people are being physically abused or threatened with violence especially in Schools, yes of course that may impact on people, and also stating the foods with the chemicals inside. Getting a variety of people to work till they drop in a typical shop store, what kind of academic future is that to a youth?

A problem can "fall back" on another problem in this case, when people like that get their own way.
