[Offtopic rant]
I support censorship when it comes to neo-nazi propaganda, yes. I spend the second half of my 'youth' in the eastern part of Germany where the extremist right-wing recruits most of their incredibly stupid followers nowadays. The really really stupid thing though is that the higher ups aren't stupid at all, they're actually the true masters of trolling and as such can be very very very very effective demagogues. But back to the censorship thing... I may generally have no high opinion of any sort of extremist, but they're still free to think what they want. It's when they stop using reasonable arguments and resort to calling upon violent instincts and twisted feelings of righteousness (and yes, we're entering the icky realm of hate-speech here) when I support shutting them up for the sake of social peace.
The other big local censorship issues I don't support, since they're just a means of averting your eyes and muttering "job well done" under your breath when you haven't really done anything to stop the injustice.

In the US, and I imagine in Germany, there already is stuff to deal with that (Germany is probably stricter about it than we are though, considering) The mainstay of such enforcement isn't so much regarding their politics (fascism after all is a political affiliation) but the actions they call for, just like you said. So while I don't believe people should be censored for believing in fascism or whatever, I do believe someone needs to shove a night stick down their throat once they start talking about Krishtalnacht 2: The Kristalnachtening, ethnic cleansing, or violence against other political or religious groups. Since these are big things for a lot of neo nazi groups I imagine most of them could be censored along those lines without bringing their politics into things. The main reason being that such laws could be equitably enforced about fascists, republicans, or socialists.

I think the Nazis in Germany are as much of a threat as rowdy hooligans and that you have more to fear from anybody labelling themselves as "moderate" but whatever. Let's just agree to disagree.
"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."

No, let's not agree to disagree. Agreeing to disagree is when you say you like strawberry jam and I say I like orange marmalade. It is not for a situation where Gobbler says he doesnt like Nazis, and you say thats silly, moderates are more of a threat. Your problem, Deuacon, is that you're an anarchist, but too indoctrinated in right wing crazyness to get the philosophy of anarchism right, so instead it comes out even crazier than regular anarchism.

This debate is tired. I'm trying to get BSDFA back here to debate, but he's being gay. During a car ride with my fellow employees, the debate was sparked when an Arab electrical engineer started describing Israel as an entity and not a nation. And how they rape women and steal land. I didn't say anything because I want to keep a clean slate at work, not piss off people which could in turn hurt my corporate ladder climbing. But when she started her rant, I thought about you JM. I was a bit shocked at her language since she's from Lebanon, and generally speaking they're more relaxed there, but that could just be the youth. Any how, Israel is the only middle eastern country with exception to lebanon that is worth fighting for, my pal did a tour of the middle east, and while he is like you JM (more so since his father is from Iraq) he did mention that Israel, while hard to cross into, was the nicest and safest place in his tour.

I should just have replied nobody cares. In any case, it took me a while to realize what Hoffman actually is. Ladies and gentlemen, Hoffman as you know him is actually a persona in parody of what we know as useful idiots. Brilliant, if I don't say so myself. I realized this when I realized that nobody could be as big a tool or as much of an idiot as Hoffman pretends to be. He should have his own show. He'd be similar to Colbert except he'd be the exact opposite. He's brilliant. Just brilliant.

Let me try: that was a clever statement, Douche. Well-put, succinct, on topic, and of course completely correct.

Maybe I can get my own show?

Jordan - Good to see you around. I have to point out though that anyone from Lebanon has plenty of reason to hate Israel, and probably a few craters or lost limbs to remind them if they forget the more historical reasons. Also, Israel is a pretty country because its made that way by billions of dollars of American money and because its flavor is more Western than that of other Middle Eastern countries, being due to the fact that it's peopled by a bunch of Westerners who came for free land, and a few ultra-zionist goons who lived there as a minority and then exiled or killed the majority Palestinians.

The Cobnuts - It's cute that you still hate me. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers all this time.

Even if those prayers are for a 747 to crash into my anus, as I'm sure they are

Please don't call Hoffman a douche, CNT. It's not fitting for a jester to be labeled as such.

If I had a jester, I would name him Dr. Douchenopolis just to spite you.

Ah Hoff, we have been thwarted by the time-honoured "I know you are but what am I?" retort. Well played by the spelling-challenged, wordplay-immune Deucaon. Well played.

Spellingly-challenged rolls off the tongue better. Take that into consideration next time you wish to embarrass yourself by attempting to broadcast your non-existent wit. At least you managed to spell my name correctly this time. You're definitely improving!

Spellingly challenged is great if you enjoy making up words that already have terms coined for them, or new definitions for words which don't need them. Also, which name would you be referring to? You have so many sock puppets it's a wonder you have anything left to put on your feet.

Americans have a habit of making up words or modifying existing words on a whim. So it's cute that you would hold onto a non-existent tradition. As I recall a millennium ago the English (or whatever the people in that area called themselves) had fifteen different ways to spell the word church.
