From ye aritcle said:

Dark Horse Books made this announcement in conjunction with Croshaw's first stateside appearance at Philadelphia's GameX this weekend, where he'll be presenting never-before-seen Zero Punctuation footage, signing autographs and mingling with fans...

... I smell a bloodbath coming on.

I'll buy it as soon as possible.
Is there a pre-order anywhere?

Congrats to Yahtz for finally becoming a published author, I know it's been high on his list of wishes for a long time.

Looks Pratchettesque. Hope it's not.

Actually, yeah, what the fuck? Press releases? Bigshot celebrity arse doesn't have the courtesy to let us know first anymore?

Remember when he used to refer to us as retarded monkeys?
Now he doesn't even remember we exist.

We're the crud of the crud, the filth of the filth.
We are the undesirable scraps of leftovers that even the mice have left behind.
We are nothing, and as Yahtzee finally gives us the attention and the thought that we deserve for being such, it finally sinks in and we see the daunting truth that was there for us to see from the beginning.

In the end, the only worth we have is that which we can scrounge up from inside ourselves, not received from some "other", who has long since moved onto greater things.

Instead of crying about how Yahtzee threw us away like another used tissue, let's instead laugh that the protagonist of his novel is, yet again, named Jim.

I bet Jim or one of the other main characters works with an accountant in an unlikely place. :)

Counting the kills for a lich lord, maybe?

I had a feeling he'd be coming back to the whole novel thing eventually. I remember all the letters he wrote to publishers for Articulate Jim. Its just a shame that I really couldn't give a fuck now, really.

Speaking of which, whatever happened to that ZP flash game contest?

It seems submissions are closed and the "winners" get announced November 16th.

Why the unbridled cynicism of those inverted commas?

I didn't roam this place back when Yahtzee used to actually communicate with you flock, so I don't really care...for now.

But I didn't get to finish reading that Fog Juice -or whatever it was called- novella of his.

Edit: A Chinchilla coat? Chinchilla boat? Chinchilla whores? Chinchilla factory?
Sounds like the Yellow Submarine, which is pretty cool.

More edits: Now it starting to get pretty good. I like it already :)
