Also, is there any way to trigger more hallucinations, short of going back and forth between two rooms waiting on a random event? I'd like to see them all, now that i know they aren't all story timelime driven.

To force a hallucination take a lot of pills and walks through doors. Unfortunately, it is random, so this probably won't help.
ftr, it sounds like you hallucinated just as you went into a cinematic and the game tried to cope. Did you kick the tall man? Could you type? Did you die?
You always move automatically on that ship and get killed. The only abnormality is the strange animation. Could you be a bit more descriptive please?
The only hallucination that kills you is the basement, I think, where you're in 5DAS basement and John Defoe walks down and kills you. Or possibly you snap out of it when he touches you. Other hallucinations include the druid, the space ship and I think there was a fourth, but I can't remember it.
For future reference please use one of the help sections, even though there is no clear section to put it in.

When you head down in the Brits ship to go carve them the idol and you head back up where it cuts to a cinematic of Tall Man killing the crew, and then when you try to get away he teleports and kills you. When I saw Tall Man I push left to try and get away and he did go left, but his animations were weird it would cut to him walking to him doing something else that wasn't walking.
Though I tried it again and had no problem.

-Haunting voice
I noticed that too, but the idea is still the same. Posting it there gives you a higher chance of an DAS expert to help you, and it stops the forums from getting cluttered with samey topics-
Use bear on salt, use bear on bed.
-though yours wasn't exactly a common one.
