Thanks again everybody, I have more than enough to go on now. JYAMG, you highlighted just about the best from all three, especially Empire. So many great moments in that movie. I'd like to add a few scenes from all three movies
Star Wars-
1)The first Rebel/Imperial battle fight aboard the Blockade Runner. Sure it looks small scale now, but seeing that for the first time twenty odd years ago with John Williams music playing sends a shiver down your spin. You know you're about the watch something special
2)Han and Greedo scene (Before the crappy alterations) Showed Solo had an edge to him, and wasn't going to be a clean cut hero
3)Hans exchange on the intercom after he and Luke break into the detention area.
Han: (getting nervous) Uh...had a slight weapons malfunction. But, uh, everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
4)Only on the Special Edition, but one of the few good things Lucas did. The exchange between Luke and Biggs before the Death Star battle. Add's some much needed depth to the friendship
5)"You're all clear, kid. Now let's blow this thing and go home!" Han coming in at the last second to save Luke before Vader shoots him down. I still get a rush when I see that
Empire-
1)Han and Leia's first exchange in the Hoth base. This scene alone put's the romance of AOTC to shame
2)"He is as clumsy as he is stupid" Maybe my favourite Vader line, and his subsequent punishment of Ozzel shows just how bad ass Vader could be
3)Luke's arrival on Dagobah and Yoda's first test as a "crazy hermit"
4)Leia: Captain, being held by you isn't quite enough to get me excited.
Han: Sorry, sweetheart. We haven't got time for anything else.
I love this exchange between Han and Leia, and the wicked grin Han gives her as he leaves the cockpit area
5)"This deal's getting worse all the time." Lando learns what a deal with Lord Vader consists of
Return-
1)Emperor's first appearance. I was just glad he wasn't some damn muppet or midget
2)Luke's first appearance. It's still pretty cool to see Luke in full Jedi garb for the first time
3)Descent into Endor "I'm endangering the mission. I shouldn't have come." A sense of forboding that's never really realized, but still a cool scene on it's own
4)Emperor's constant taunting of Luke. Though he's straight out lying through his teeth about "his best troops" being on Endor (they run away from Ewoks for God sakes), his brain screwing of Luke show's he's the much more evil than "Papa loves Luke" will ever be
5)Luke burning Vader's body on the funeral pyre. Powerful closing scene, and the way ROTJ should've ended, instead of seeing those damn Ewoks singing
