Game translations?

This topic might already have been covered ages ago, but I am a new member and I cannot possibly be arsed to read every thread on this forum. My question is: have you ever thought about having your games translated yet? The reason I am asking this because I, like all the other people on this forum, am convinced that your games are BRILLIANT, and this seed should be spread everywhere.
Anyway, putting sucking-up aside, I honestly believe that there are many non-English members on the forum, who would be honoured if they had the privilege to have such a task bestowed upon. I am a native Hungarian who majors in English (and Japanese) at university, my future plans are to become an interpreter, and I also used to translate computer games for a living into Hungarian. I'd really like to translate your more serious games (5-7DAS, 1213) into Hungarian, but what I'm trying to put across is that I'm convinced that there are people who could (and would) probably translate them to wider-spoken languages on professional level.
Since I'm no user of the AGS engine, I'm not sure if this can be done without it, maybe by translating some kind of script file, I truly do not know. This is more your area of expertise.
I sincerely hope you are interested.

I really feel that this would help a lot, because in Hungary, the majority of the population does not speak English, and games rarely ever get translated into our language, so having a Hungarian translation of games has always been a good incentive for us to be more interested in them. Maybe this is true for my country only, but maybe not...
And more interest ----> more donations?

By the way, Hungarian fonts can also be used for German, French or any other accent-using languages as well.

...
Others???
If Yahtzee had the good heart to bestow such gifts upon us, the least we could do is to try and return the favour by making his games popular on a wider scale, don't you think?
Yahtzee, if you're still reading this topic, the problem with the foreign characters has been (more or less) solved, so there are no more obstacles in the wake of getting the games translated. So are you interested in this at all? Since you mentioned you'd tried having them translated before, it makes me think so, that's why I'm still forcing this thread. Of course, if you're not interested anymore, then I guess I'm just flogging a dead horse here.

Of course I'm okay with that, it's not me who has to do the extra work, is it?

If you want, I could try to do it into German or French. Give the game a proper international audience.

EDIT: The Hungarian translation process is well under way, and according to my experiments with the compatibility of AGS and accented characters, there shouldn't be much of a problem with other languages either. My advice is to contact Yahtzee, and tell him about your intentions and your credentials.

To David : So, it worked?
To Yahtzee: I played 5DAS, 7DAS and Trilby's notes to the end. There are many brazilian gamemaniacs who would love to play those jewels but dont understand a single word in english. Just give the a txt file with all words and I translate them. Many portuguese words have accented characters, but I think this problem is solved by now, right?
Just one question: May I change the game characters names? Its not necessary but would be cool...
