If youre a tax paying American citizen, theres a good chance youre about to get some extra cash coming your way soon from Uncle Sam in the form of a Government Stimulus Relief Check that supposed to help alleviate the economy thats borderline recession (or already in a recession).
Have you already decided how you are planning to spend that extra check?
Its interesting, cause the Govt seems to think that most every American will spend the check in a way that will benefit the economy. I forsee many using it to pay on debt. Others will view it as a sort of rebate on the high gas prices they have been paying these last couple of months.
For me, my check amount will be $600, and with that $600 Im using it to go towards a new laptop computer: 250gb, wireless N, integrated webcam & mic, DVD burner, (havent decided on a brand yet..although Sony, HP, Gateway, and Toshiba seem to be contenders.)
If I dont spend it on a laptop right away, then it will just go to the bank to collect extra dividends on with the rest of my cash stash.

300 cups of coffee.
Id buy just one cup of coffee, and then get 299 free refills (they cant say NO, if theyre offering free refills)
Then id use the remainder of that cash to buy stock in Starbucks.

Mireaux, I think they can say no, unless they offer UNLIMITED refills. Most places have a right to refuse inked in to their policy; other places, like McDonald's, offer one refill, and they actually mark the bottom of your cup when you bring it to them. Anyway you'd have a heart attack after about 16 cups of coffee.
I am not eligible for this, but I want to play as well. If I had a free $600, I'd pick up that ivory backscratcher I've had my eye on.

I don't think I'm getting any stimulus money (though the federal government owes me 382$ in overtaxing me during the 2007 fiscal year), but if I did, I'd save it to pay for stuff I needed. That's about 6 months worth of groceries. Or 60 pizzas.

I'd get a Wii if I was eligible. Then again, I plan to get one anyway, and it's really just a matter of sorting out other things first that's holding me back.

If Uncle Sam had the good grace to give me $600, I'd put it towards the PC I'm building in about... 7 weeks.
