Now, please don't laugh at me.
I have just blown a considerable amount of money to get KOTOR.
After what seemed like two hours of installing I got the following message:
Non-windows Generic OpenGL 1.4.0 driver required.
Now, I have read what OpenGL is and the help suggested that I obtain the OpenGL driver from my graphic card manufacturer.
I've checked the website of my graphic card manufacturer and it does not freaking have any OpenGL drivers.
I run Windows XP home edition and my graphic card is NVIDIA GEForce2 MX/MX 400.
HELP!

If you look down in the Release Highlights it says it supports OpenGL 1.5
Also you want to make sure your DirectX is up to date (9.0c)
Hope this helps!

Also make sure you download the patch for KotOR before you start playing. Fixes up some bugs which kill your save games.

Download patch???? What is it, a Bill Gates product or what?
ANyway, I went to htis site and now I have two files downloaded - the one linked by srmoore and another one I bumped into, and I can't see which is to be installed.... The one linked is just an application, and other is a zip full of .dll files...

I've just had my first round. I need to buy memory extension, though. The game gets really slow sometimes, it seems to me that it happens iin places when there are a lot of details to render. And my computer is "only" 2.5 years old...
