A Bug's Life... In My Nose

A while back I recall being told an pretty unbelievable story about a girl who developed a painful headache that could not be cured with any sort of painkillers. Eventually, after a long time at the hospital, they discovered that a moth had crawled into her nasal cavity (presumably while sleeping) and had died, slowly creating a pain unlike anything she'd ever felt. Surprisingly, after a lot of research at snopes.com I couldn't find any evidence that this was an urban legend.
So today on the subway I was sniffling a bit when I felt something enter my nose. Deep, into my nose. It felt too solid to be snot and the first thing that entered my mind was the story of the moth in the girl's nose.
All the way home my nose ran. By the time I got home I blew my nose as hard as I could and, wouldn't you know it, there was a gross bug that flew out.
Now I just feel kinda sick. I'm going to go to bed now.

I read that it is a common thing for insects to crawl through mouths, noses and ears when people are asleep according to an average they did years ago. Something I cannot believe because I would notice it.
Cockroaches look like the sort of creature to check their way in if present as one nearly to did to me years back in my ear and still many attempts to have a life in my clothes.
Look what I found. I don't which is worse, waking up with a bug in my nose or waking up with one of these that runs 10 mph:

How about having your nose scanned and checked out?
If that happened to me I would be more worried about having it checked out.

I can't believe a bug was really in your nose! How did it get in there? Or are you lying?
I'm sure the thing about eggs etc is an urban legend. I think your nose would notice if there were eggs in it and you would sneeze.

I was thinking that some insects eggs or larvaes are so small that snot could hold it in place without feeling it. A question of whether the environment under the nose is correct if it was to ever happen without noticing.
If it is unlikely I would still be paranoid to have my nose checked out if it happened to me.
This Summer I had a lot of problems with moths. I brought an electronic bug swatter but some live ones decide to come back in as soon as I let them out the window. I am just pleased I didn't go to bed with them present in the room.

The worst would be a mosquito.
My cousin swallowed one a threw up blood for about 3 days.
I've had the fly in my eye but the worst was rice.
I choked on it and inhaled.
Of course it went up my nasal passage.
THAT HURT.
I could feel it logded in there.
I finally blew them out.
I was relieved and a little grossed out by the snotty rice

right?
I mean that couldn't really happen...
there can't be any scientifc evidence to back that up

Anything could be possible but I found this.
Still under question but this person claimed of having one up the nose:
Have you ever heard of anything like this? If not, is there anyone else I can contact?
Here's the big question: Did that moth lay eggs in my nose or sinuses? Ugh! If so, what is the gestation period and what do I need to do to prevent them from hatching? This is freaking me out.
I'd really appreciate it if you could get back with me today. You can contact me at my workplace in Denver at 303-861-xxxx, on my cell phone at 303-522-xxxx, or at home at 303-458-xxxx, or can e-mail me. I'll be checking this e-mail account throughout the day
Thanks for your help!
