Originally they had paid £30 for a bill of £30. Now they've paid £27 for a bill of £25, so the manager pocketed the remaining £2. The remaining £3 (not £1, as the £2 should be subtracted from their payment not added) is shared between the customers as they've taken £1 refund each.
So original situation:
HOTEL: £30
New situation:
HOTEL: £25
Manager: £2
Customers: £3
So their payment of £27 includes the manager's slice, and there's £3 "missing" in their wallets.

Set the color of the text to "#f0f0ff" if it's going to be one of the darker-background posts, or "#f8f8ff" if the lighter background. To see how to do colors, try selecting a block of text and selecting a colour from the dropdown box of colours. Then just change "blue" or whatever to one of the above WITHOUT quotes.
