Maybe Anakin will spend the whole time listing all the ways in which Obi-Wan's managed to piss him off. "You wouldn't let me smoke pot in the house, you wouldn't let me buy designer gear, you made me get that stupid haircut..."

"and this is for looking the wrong way at Amidala"
"and this is for that stupid beard"
"and this is for letting Quigon die"
"and this is for that shit eating grin of yours"
"and this is for rolling your eyes at me..."
"and this is for your heroin days'
"and this is for insider trading"
"and this is for starring in a movie with K.D.Lang"
"and this is for my robotic hand..."
"and this is for not congratulating me on the pod race"

"and this is for calling me "Annie"
"and this is for Saruman"
"and this is for having sex with Christian Bale"

Battle for the Galaxy--read the "other Star Wars"
All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.

Don't hold your breath, anyone, that anything about this film will be remotely good. Don't see it; don't see it; don't see it.
However, don't see it.
Nevertheless, don't see it.
And while you're at it, don't see it for me too.

I hypothesize that at least one of these interlaced scenes will be a musical performed by wookiees. For more on this hypothesis please tune in to Lance & Eskimo this coming Monday.

I, for one, am looking forward to seeing it. Then again, i did not realize I hated the other 2 films until a week or so after I saw them.

Think about it. Twelve minutes of anything on film is a huge amount of time. Then think of sword slashing unedited. Boring. It's nothing but wishful thinking. I call it Matrix syndrome.
Nothing wrong with Gillard saying that he's seen a 12 minutes long clip of the footage he created and was filmed. No editor in their right mind is going to show 12 minutes straight of a sword fight in a multi-million dollar film of this nature. Twelve minutes total, interspersed with other scenes, possibly.

12 minutes? trust me folks... it's a good thing. the more time soaked up that isn't a talk scene the better... the action this film is promising is the only thing it has going for it... believe me when i tell you... you want as much as possible.
i would rather this than hear annie and padme talk for another second...
and watching people drive for 3/4 of a film like with the podrace is another thing all together...

I knew it was going to be a terrible movie ever since I saw AOTC. But alas, I'm going to have to watch it... not because I like the movie, but because I'm a fan by obligation. I'm like that guy who's sitting by a dying friend or relative, trying to comfort their fears and pains as they live out their last few days of their life. Not only do I plan on actually going to the movies and watching it, but I'll be getting the movie on DVD and then have one big movie watching marathon and watch the entire saga in one go... then shelve them and never watch them again.
I've said that a million times already, though. I don't know if anyone actually cares about all that.

Chef, can you tell me how the 'extended' pod race was like? I really want to know, thanks.
