Last I heard, they dropped the reactivation, but are keeping the horrible activation in the first place. Same problem with Mass Effect. Brilliant game, horrible packaging.

To be honest, I was excited about Spore, but the during the huge delay between the advertising and the release, I've mostly stopped caring.

Yeah, as long as Duke Nukem Forever is still out there, no other game can use the fact that it's colossally delayed as a selling point.

All I know about Spore is that people are using the creature creator to make "sporn". I'd post a link but it's probably against the rules, and I never want to see it again.

I've seen some wonderfully messed up Sporn, and the tragic thing is, its really well made too.

Meanwhile, I've made a friendly cave squig, and a happy genestealer. Making scary monsters scary is evidently not my forte.

Is this game really going to be worth getting? From what I've heard, it just sounds like a more epic version of like, Sim City, Civilization, or Black and White. And I don't generally like to spend a lot of money on games - if I can't, er, *borrow* it, then it has to be REALLY freaking good for me to buy it.
