Of course, I'll be just PC enough to loop around in twelve or so days to hit up Epiphany for you Orthodox out there. It's good being a Christian Arab, you get two Christmases...

Whilst I would hate to say Merry Starve Mass to the people in starving countries.
This year I am not as guilty because I asked not to be given anything I don't need or nothing at all.
Does it seem true that the thirteenth disciple's temptation of collecting money grew into crazy advertising and shops at Christmas? I look around and I even fell for it once. Afterwards sales always slump so I should never shop before and less of disguised rip off blackmarket stuff around.

Ahem, that is: Kurisumasu omedeto, or if you prefer, クリスマスおめでと。
...Please don't hit me.

we didn't really do the whole tree thing this year, but we had a delicious salmon dinner for Christmas Eve and played guitar. it's really nice to be home
Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

I've noticed getting older I receive a significantly smaller amount of presents every year, but oh do they get sweeter and sweeter. The sweetest of them being my very own wacom tablet! HOORAY! And an awesome shiny blue and silver pocket watch, and a DVD of Casanova (starring David Tennant and not Heath Ledger. DavidTennant!LOVE!)
My needs for shininess, usefulness, and fangirly-ness have all been fulfilled. And there's still great juicy slabs of ham to ingest. All in all, a very good day so far.
Now it's just a matter of playing the waiting game for someone to put up a torrent of the new Doctor Who Christmas special.
