I was wondering if I should bother opening a shop for my little corner of the internet. Hyopthetically, you could buy all sorts of merchandise, say, with my low-res comic "Slant" on it, or maybe a t-shirt with Umbrella Head or Stapler Face (actual artwork, not pixelated goofiness) on it. There will also definately be some Discordian stuff (hopefully mostly original), guaranteed to baffle people, once I decide what to do with it. And I'd like to do some old-school gaming stuff, but those damned copyright laws get in the way. And really, I'd not be wanting to infringe on their intellectual property, just give people the opportunity to parade around with an 8-bit contra character or something on a t-shirt. The only problem would be that it's a cafepress store, so I wouldn't be able to do any black t-shirts. *le sigh*
So... should I do it? Will anyone even care? Can you think of something from my site that should go in it that I've left out? Would you even waste your time buying merchandise? Although if you did, I would definately feel motivated to update more than Somedays... Do more NES game reviews and such...

Shop? Dare I waste my time?

To be honest, I think a store is completely your call. If you feel like making one just for something to do, go for it. Don't just make one because you think people will buy something. I mean, mine's been open for over a year now, and the first item from it was sold this past winter.
