Fingernails aren't made from bone - their made out of protein - anyone who was using a match and managed to avoid being burned by... well by half a fingernail knows they aren't bone from the way they burn.
Bulls horns are a bone, over which there is a special kind of skin called keratin (horn-producing, literally) which grows dense hard hair we call horn. Same stuff as rhinos and a few other things... similar yet different to antlers.
Still, there is a kind of octopus that as part of its natural diet eats fruit from trees.

No... fruit palms that grow on beaches. And the pick them out of the tree, not from windfall that fall in the water. Octopi can stay moist and healthy outside water for as much as half an hour or more depending on species, long enough to climb a tree, eat some fruit and crawl back in the water.

Fully serious - an actual octopus documentary with david attenborough managed to get one to climb the tree. That was cool - octopus in general are cool... as far as camouflague they kick the chameleons butt and it goes "what was that, who kicked my butt?"
