Well I had to trawl to find this thread. I knew it was out there, just a little patience and I've been rewarded. After many long years and seeing the early days of the ChefElf Forum I have finally made it. I might even possibly hold a record now.

This here post represnts my 1000th entry in to the forums. It may well make me the slowest person to reach 1000 posts - I'll need to judges decision on this.

I hope this mean that I can now update and personalise my Avatar's name.

I'm resurrecting a thread so I'm going to milk it for all it's worth. There ae some very special people that I need to thank for helping me achieve this milestone of mine. These people have been my guiding lights and brought me back here time and time again even after rather extended absences. They have been responsible for entertaining me, making me laugh, making me think, making me wish I didn't think and generally keeping my faith in people. I'm also doing this from memory so if I discover I've missed somebody I reserve the right to come back and add them later. They are in no particular order (with the exception of ChelElf because he started it:

Hey, congradulations, Supes. You've easily been around longer than most people here. I'm surprised that it took this long for you to reach 1000, but looking back on it, it's not that surprising. You always took long abscenses.

Because it's such an emotional post? (Or is it...)

Congratualtions Supes. Good to see you finally made it, even with all the extended absenses. So, one more post and you can get your self a custom title.

And Ms Poetic, I hope you don't try to beat his record as it will mean you'll have to wait a few years to make your next three posts, and I wouldn't want to see you leave so soon tongue.gif

I do believe you mistook my member number for my post count, dear Sime. Unfortunately, I'm still somewhere in the 600s, though I do admit I was surprised to see that I've made it this far. smile.gif And no worries, I'm not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. I <3 you all too much for that! biggrin.gif
