l'll admit the original 80's Knight Rider has aged considerably..but in its hey-day this show was smokin hot.
I find it amusing that there have been many attempts to revive the series: Team Knight Rider (the worst one IMO),..Viper,.Knight Rider 2000,
nothing can seem to match the magic the original had,..and im doubtful this latest attempt will either....
...for those unaware,.NBC is planning to bring the series back with KITT being a Shelby Ford Mustang..and it doesnt impress me.
for starters...this car doesnt look fast...KITT should always give off this image that says "Im FAST..and I WILL catch your ass!!!!!!"
I think they should have stuck with a GM vehicle,,and the new Camaro or Corvette comes to mind. But if it must be Ford..why not that GTO..it a lot faster than a Mustang.
If I was in charge,.KITT would be either a Lambourghini Murcielago or a Nissan Skyline...Sean Connery would be Devon..Michael would be some unknown guy..(and for the record...April was leagues sexier than Bonnie ever was!). Jessica Alba can be the new techie chick.
Id give KITT endless possibilities..including time travel. Yep! It would be Knight Rider, Back to the Future, & The Dukes of Hazzard all rolled into one!!

That would be pretty hilarously terrible. Whenever I see someone get out of an H2 or H3, I want to stab them repeatedly whilst screaming "WHY?!"
Also, this looks like it's going to suck. If only original, intelligent, creative ideas sold well enough for corporate giants to not be terrified of lowering their profit margins by 1% when they take a risk with something that isn't a sequel or cookie-cutter flick.

I used to stick homemade bumper stickers on those vehicles that said "I'm changing the climate. Ask me how!" The one time I got caught, the driver did not think it was funny. I don't think he understood the joke. Though I'm sure he does now, since Al Gore turned climate change into a cheap fad.
Anyway, this was my irreverent and forgettable contribution here. Carry on.
