I saw it last night, and thought it was brilliant. Some of my friends didn't agree. What do others think?
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.

I really liked it.
I also didnt know it was based on a DC Comic.
But the visuals were good.. and actually I liked keanu..
But I really like the actress who plays Gabrial. even though i can't remember what else i've seen her in.
Anyway.. Thats my short review
OH and stay through the credits.. there is a quick thing at the end to see.

Although The Prophesy and Exorcist; the beginning come to mind throughout, I liked this movie.

the original The Exorcist pretty much became a template for such subject matter and will always in some way be held accountable for everything that is portrayed in way of demonic possesion.
Cons+antine rocked... it was fun, i enjoyed it.
reminded a little of The Prophesy with the way Gabriel was acting...
that angel gets a rough rep.
and i kept expecting the devil to threaten to cut of constantines 'johnson' or feed him into a woodchipper, but yeah, it was a good watch.

This film only furthers my proof that Keanu has a Savior clause in his contract. If he ain't saving mandkind in one way or another he isn't in it.

did keanu act like a savior to all mankind in bill and ted?
Yes.
Not so much in POINT BREAK or MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, but in BILL AND TED the fate of the future world rests with these guys.

Theres a certain Keanu Reevesieness about him that he can't quite shake. Some actors you can see in movies and they become their character entirely, whereas some actors define their characters with their own personas. Arnold Schwarzeneger and Tim Roth come to mind here as well as Reeves. A lot of people have poked fun at him because of this, and when I saw the box for Constantine I couldn't help but say
"Heh, Keanu Reeves fighting demons?"
But when I got around to seeing the movie it actually worked well. The film did have some good twists, and the only cliche that pissed me off was the mythical item of extraordinary power. Reeves did a fine job as Constantine and I'd probably reccomend the film.
