Eventually, some snobby little twat is going to come along and say "Comics aren't real books!" if we leave the comic discussion as a part of the regular Book Club forum. It's inevitable.
Well perhaps, but... so what? I think the majority is vastly against that insofar hypothetical person. I mean hell, there's always going to be
someone who complains, about any given subject. I complained my ass off about Chefelf's policies, but I was pretty much the only one, and I certainly don't think he should change them just for me. Why should a whole new forum be created just to avoid the sneers of some random 'snobby little twat'? You'd more or less just be agreeing with them.
And you know my opinions on comics/books segregation. A comics forum will enforce the belief that they
are different.
Hecc and Kirby - You guys really are just inventing worstcase scenarios here. I'd be respecting your opinions a whole lot more if you just admitted you were in favour of a Comics Forum cos you think it'd be cool to have one.
