Fantomas, and other Mike Patton projects

After listening to Mr. Bungle's Claifornia, I was wooed by a dreamily dark world of heavy metal and bossa nova. I promptly bought Mr. Bungle's previous record, Disco Volante, and was at first dissapointed, but after a few listenings, the album really grew on me. at least the first half, after Violencia Domestica it sort of drops off, as far as I'm concerned.
Having found out (and having had my heart broken by the news of) that Mr. Bungle had broken up, I decided to check out some of the more recent Mike Patton projects, including Fantomas. Well...it's quite experimental, but I think it's starting to sink it's jagged barbs of obscure taste into me.
Anyone else like, or know of, Mike Patton? He was in Faith No More. He has a big feud going on with the Red Hot chili Peppers. He was going to play at a big multi-band festival in Australia, but the Chili Peppers said they wouldn't share a bill with Mr. Bungle, and got them kicked.

I've heard a good amount of Fantomas material, and a friend of mine is a huge Mr. Bungle fan, so I've heard plenty of that. None if it really strikes a chord the way Faith No More did.
Although I must admit that the EP he recorded with Dillinger Escape Plan is great, especially the cover of Aphex Twin's "Come To Daddy".

Apparently, he did a set at Reading Festival last year with some bloke called Raziel (sp), where they did a human beatbox thing, but it was on at exactly the same time as Green Day were playing their headlining slot, so I imagine the audience amounted to three men and a dog. Sounded interesting though.

He's an extremely intelligent guy who gets off on mocking people left and right, which is amusing for a while. If you fail to join in on his non-stop mock-fest he turns around and mocks you instead. It's annoying.
